THIS WEEK I’M LOVING…..MAYBELLINE EXPRESS FINISH LACQUER

Us girls at the Beauty Quest are complete product junkies and believe you can pay £1 or £100 and still get a thrill from something new. But often the fun of the catch is in the chase. And whether we’re trolling round testers at the beauty counters or checking out the latest launches on line, we’re ultimately girls that love to shop (don’t worry shopping at thebeautyquest is coming soon!)
This weekend, though I found myself caught short. It was Sunday afternoon and I’d just purchased a warming wine coloured ribbed jumper from Warehouse that I was dying to wear when I realized, to my horror -I had no matching nail varnish. With no time to get to a store and no time to order online I added “nail varnish” to my Sainsburys list along with an organic chicken and a selection of veg! Well I can honestly tell you that experience is NOT how I like to purchase my beauty buys, the selection was so small and not at all compelling or exciting. However needs must and I managed to pick up a dark red Maybelline Express Finish Nail Lacquer and….it’s fab.
Day 4 and it’s still a deep rich colour, has a beautiful shine, not a chip in sight and it matched my jumper perfectly. Of course, I’ve had to take my sweater off but my nail varnish is still going strong. I love it……must check out more Mabelline colours next time I’m picking up my potatoes.
