Glitter Lashes from Barry M

Who doesn’t love a bit of glitter in their life? Barry M is catering to the glitter obsessed gals, with their fab Glitter Lashes product. This is a wand which lets you add some much needed sparkle to the eyes, allowing you to use it under or over mascara. Barry M Glitter Lashes comes in 6 different shades, and will add some extra sparkle to any style. I love the purple one- would be great used on the tips of the lashes for a subtle nod to the purple trend.

Twilight Makeup Range

Those Twilight kids are at it again, with everyone wishing they had that eerie pale skin and blood red lips. The new installment of Twilight makeup is named ‘Eclipse’ (yes, surprise, surprise) and features a suitable array of vampirish like beauty products.

Hot product sin the range includes a gorgeous glitter eye pencil which will imbue your eyes with delicate flecks of glitter, some creepy looking varnishes which range from red to black to shimmering moonlight and my favourites, a selection of duo baked eyeshadows.

The eyshadows are very complementary colours, and though they may err of the side of drama, are still very wearable. They can be applied dry or wet (for a deeper look) and will give you eyes that will have R-Patz come running (hopefully). The range should be out pretty soon- to tie into the film!

Seriously Loving: Paul & Joe Lip Gloss

Summer is in the air, and everything is light, bright and pretty. Make sure that the rest of you matches with the weather by investing in some delightful accoutrement’s. I can’t get enough of Paul & Joe lip glosses and the formula smells incredible and leaves the lips with the loveliest shine.

The colours look great on the lips and give them a great shine without gloopiness. I like the thick texture of the gloss as it helps the colour last and they smell fantastic as well. The three colours all include luxe looking flecks of gold sparkles and they give the lips a lovely sheen.

Three of the best: Headache beating buys

I’ve been told there’s a flu bug going round, and that could explain the general lethargy and head-achiness that has overcome me in recent days. On a bid to tackle the headaches I’ve been trying out a selection of remedies, and have rounded up the three best for you to try. If this fails, Galaxy Cookie Crumble would be the next best option…

Tisserand Essential De Stree Oil

This roll on remedy is meant to be used on the temples and other pressure points in order to soothe away pain with its blend of essential oils. Product is easy to dispense and the rollerball actually rolls across the skin, rather than dragging it (like cheaper models do). The scent IS pretty strong so if you hate patchouli, rose or orange oil it probably won’t be for you, but if you like them you may find this soothes away your stresses easily. It didn’t do much for my head, but it did relax my body, which had a knock on effect to boost my wellbeing.

Three of the best : Long lasting eyeliners

I’m a major eyeliner fan, and it’s probably my most important makeup buy of all. I feel that a strongly lined eye can make the whole face become something structured and impressive, so me and my kohl and never separated. There are many brands to choose from though, so how does the time conscious woman choose what will work for her? I’ve generously tested out the many on sale and have come up with my pick of the best long lasting eyeliners, to have you looking groomed all day long.

ColorSport 24 Hour Eyeliner

This eyeliner comes with a 24 hour guarantee and it needs makeup remover to budge it. It leaves a lovely thin defined line that’s a very strong black and a little pressure can allow you to create great winged ends. Careful with it though, as you don’t want to accidentally draw yourself black freckles (not that I’m talking from experience or anything).

The Senzimi Skincare Range is created for sensitive skin

The battle against sensitive can be helped by making sure you follow a good skin care regime and watching your diet, but breajouts are often unavoidable. When your skin flares up you can feel uber paranoid about your apearance, so it’s a good idea to use a skincare range that’s targeted towards your skin. Senzimi Skincare has been created to tackle sensitive skin with an ingredient list that contains a variety of skin busting ingredeimts such as Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Argan Oil.

The range was created by Tim Davies, a former landscape gardener who decided that there was a gap for a range that was transparant in its approach and dealt with gentle skin.“As someone establishing a sensitive skincare brand, I feel it’s vital to be transparent, and give consumers as much relevant information as possible so they can make their own decisions,” he said.

Three of the best: Lemony fresh scents

With summer in the air and Spring waving a wet goodbye, it’s nice to start spritzing away with fresh scents. The scent of lemon always reminds me of good times, as the many years of Sun-In applications and days spent adding sugar to lemonade bring up happy memories. There are many lemon based scents on offer, and we’re here to share with you our top three.

Fragrance of the Decade

There are so many fabulous fragrances out there it would be hard to pin down my top ten, let alone choosing a fragrance that encapsulates the last decade. Somehow, the Perfume Shop managed to do this, with help from a variety of questionnaires and consultations with consumers and experts alike.

Two scents have been selected, one for men and one for women and these are the ones voted most popular. Do the results surprise you?

Three of the best: Summer body lotions

threebestbodylotionsSummer is in the air, and along with ice lollies, floaty skirts and sunglasses comes the dreaded bearing of the legs.  Those pins that have been covered for the last few months are now making an appearance, so make sure they’re soft and shimmery! We round up three of the best summer body lotions to smooth and fragrance them.

Molton Brown Wilde Fairyfleur Body Lotion

This brand new scent from Molton Brown introduces ingredients that have been sourced from the countryside. The notes revolve around the exotically named ‘posy of fairyfleur’ (a.k.a cowslip) and these extracts combine to create a fresh uplifting lotion that softens as well as hydrates the skin. Fairyfleur were once considered semi mystical flowers as English folklore regarded them as hiding places for fairies and that they brought good luck! The lotion is light on the skin, and blends in quickly, and I was pleased to find a little went a long way.

Three of the best: Pretty Pink nail varnishes

Pink nails evoke a fresh summery feel and give every woman a lovely feminine aura. This Summer, nails are going back to pink, and there are a variety of shades to pick from, from babydoll hues, to brighter fuchsias and magenta’s. We round up three of the best for your enjoyment.
